ABOUT BEVO

We are a Slovenian R&D foodtech startup founded by enthusiastic entrepreneur, scientist and engineer

Our goal is to develop a deep understanding of food market and its trends in order to produce solutions with real impact. We combine foodscience, engineering and biotechnology to produce unique solutions for us and our industrial customers.

The first product we developed is a plant-based burger Altburger™. It is available in Spar Slovenia stores around the country. During its development and customer interviews, we noticed a large gap in the available technology for the production of plant-based meats and the lack of knowledge in the traditional food industry. Because of that, we pivoted to the production of hardware solutions for providing plant-based world what is desperately needs. True plant-based meat. Along with that we are providing developmental services for companies with appetites to enter the plant-based market.

For them we provide know-how on EU regulatory framework and complete product development including industrialization, composing HACCP protocols and preparing relevant documentation.
